Paleo Diet

Also known as the caveman diet is based on the foods that someone in prehistoric times would eat. It is designed to take out all of the modern processed food and replace it with natural foods. Because back in prehistoric times it was unheard of to have diabetes or obesity

It is believed that farming changed the way humans ate. Foods like dairy, legumes, and grains become more of a regular part of the diet. A regular diet of these modern foods outpaced the body’s ability to adapt and lead to obesity and diabetes.

Diet

Foods to eat:

  • Fruits, vegetable, nuts, seeds, lean meats, fish, oils from fruit and nuts

Foods not to eat

  • Grains, Legumes, Dairy products, refined sugar, salt, potatoes, and high processed foods

It is normal to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You are also allowed snacks of fruit, vegetable, or nuts. In addition to that water is the main drink to use with meals.
